Highboys take there skills to b-ball court...
B-ball is starting for the local highboys during winter break. 16 will play in a 3 on 3 4 team league. It will be at the local church INDOORS. The 4 teams will be ran by the 4 people who will also have to make there draft picks Monday...AP, Scotty L., Dibe and Peck. Draft will go in this order..Peck (1st, 8th and 9th picks), Dibe (2nd, 7th, and 10th pick), AP (3rd, 6th, and 1th picks), and Scotty (4th, 5th and 12th pick). The date is still unknown. The commish and the new appointed Prez of B-ball Bodge will pick the date when the have a damn clue. For more information about the tourn click below.
Draft Results & Teams Scotty suffers a broken nose in 42-35 loss...
In a day that we figured to have the last game of the HFL year. The day that we figured to have rain, instead we couldnt of had better weather. Highboys that showed stripped there long sleeve shirts to just wear short sleeves as they had the best weather possible. Might have just been a sign not to end the season so soon. 7 people showed up and the teams were lop sided until midway thru the game. The teams were Blee, Beek, and Scott v. Herm, Jones, and Leaf. Best thing that happened to the team was when Herm threw a quick INT on his 1st pass of the game. By doin that the let Jones take the QB spot and Coach Funghiser couldnt of been any happier with the outcome. Jones allready got himself of the QB MVP ballot with his preformance on Saturday throwing all the TDs for his team. Beek on the other side did well himself playin QB connecting a lot wit his favorite WR Scotty. Till midway thru the game when it was agreed to play tackle and 1st play Scott broke his nose on a Jones tackle. Peck ended up playing for him as Scott had a date wit the hospital. The combo of Leaf and Herm at WR was leathal and even though they played weak on D it was enough to still pull of the win.

Rematch...?
Boys on the World say they want it...its just a matter if the Dub-c will agree with it. "I just want to enjoy this win for now, then we'll think about it". Herm right now is tryin to find a trophy for his squad. With Killgore and Ott not being able to make the game, they have reason to want a rematch. Also a winter game in snow maybe could be a good idea. Bad part about it is say World happened to win, it would be hard to say they are the best team if both are 1-1. We will just have to see what will happen.
